Military kills FARC finance leader

The Armed Forces killed a financial leader of the guerrilla group FARC’s 36th Front in central Antioquia, newspaper El Colombiano reported.

The FARC head, alias “Shampoo,” was killed along with two other suspected guerrillas in the western town of Sabanalarga.

Shampoo was an explosives expert and is thought to be responsible for killing an anti-explosives Armed Forces commander in May 2010.

He has also been identified as responsible for recruiting minors.
