Mexican romantic pop group Camila to perform in Bogota

Mexican romantic pop trio Camila will perform some of their biggest hits on Wednesday, May 11 in Bogota‘s Coliseo Cubierto El Campin, reported events site Plan B.

The concert is part of a tour that began in May 2010, titled “Dejarte de Amar,” after the group’s second album of the same name.

Songs performed will include “Mientes,” the first hit from the album, among many others.

“Dejarte de Amar,” which won 3 Latin Grammys in 2010, is, according to the group’s official website, “a tribute to loneliness.”

“This album speaks of the loneliness that confronts 20 thousand people each night, but also of another more spiritual [loneliness], that which also causes the typical optical illusions of this kind,” said group member Mario.

Camila was formed in 2005 by band members Mario Domm, Samo, and Pablo Hurtado, and now has millions of followers throughout Latin America.
