The Colombian city of Medellin on Tuesday released a video to support its bid to host the 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
The video, called “Medellin has an Olympic dream for 2018,” is to convince the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to hold the 2018 youth games in Colombia instead of the Scottish capital of Glasgow or the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires.
Medellin was put on the three-city shortlist by the IOC in February.
The city, Colombia’s second largest, in 2010 organized the South American Games which allowed Medellin to make massive investments in its sports infrastructure.
