Mamma Mia! Abba to play in Bogota?

Swedish kitsch-pop gods Abba will reportedly be bringing their legendary harmonies to Colombia’s capital, announced W Radio on Friday.

The spectacular 70s band, which by all accounts broke up in the 1980s, has reportedly been booked by businessman German Arango to perform in Bogota – with a surprisingly reasonable booking fee of just $500,000.

The Nordic forefathers of pop, made up of members Benny Andersson, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Faltskog, will no doubt put on a dazzling show of bachelorette-party favorites – including “Knowing Me Knowing You,” “Voulez Vous,” and, of course, the anthem that is “Dancing Queen.”

The show is set to take place on May 7 in Bogota’s Camel Club.

We’ll have to see it to believe it, but if it does happen we will certainly thank them for the music.
