At least five people were killed and 11 wounded after a bus carrying mostly farmers rolled off of the highway Sunday in western Colombia, according to local media.
The reason of the crash which took place in the western-central state of Antioquia is currently being investigated.
Among those killed were two girls who were younger than 18 years.
The bus, or ‘chiva,’ which is a traditional type of Colombian bus that often transports large amounts of farmers in less-than-safe conditions, was allegedly transporting citizens back and forth to church when it crashed.
Bus accidents like this are common in many rural parts of Colombia.
