Juanes to host his own radio show

Juanes will be launching his own monthly satellite radio show starting in September.

The Colombian singer will host his first airing of, “I am Juanes,” on September 16th on the U.S. satellite radio show SiriusXM.

Juanes will use the show to present some of his favorite songs and introduce others that have inspired him over the years. His interests include a variety of genres, ranging from heavy metal to rock to blues. Along with some of his first musical influences, Juanes will use his first episode to focus on growing up in Medellin.

The show will also go over some of his favorite collaborations that he has done with other artists, what he thinks about the current music scene, and even be used to air some of his new songs.

“Many types of music have influenced me and I’m happy to have, for the first time, a live forum where I can share with my fans throughout the country,” Juanes said in a statement regarding the show.

Juan Esteban Aristizabal Vasquez, or more commonly known as Juanes, has become a universal star and the president of SiriusXM said that he is proud to host “I Am Juanes” as their first original program meant for bilingual listeners.

The Colombian singer has received 17 Latin Grammys and also has his own series on YouTube.
