Juanes performs new album in Colombia

Juanes performed his new album “P.A.R.C.E” for fans in Bogota on Wednesday, El Espectador reports.

“I want you to be the first to hear the 12 songs before the album gets released and tell me what you think. That’s the magic of music,” Juanes told his audience

“P.A.R.C.E” is about love, heartbreak, the environment and hope. The song “Segovia” remembers the victims and families of The Segovia Massacre1988.

The songs “La soledad” and “La razon” are about lack of affection and the repentance of someone who “wants to go back to being the man who loves you.”

In one of the saddest songs of the album is “Lo nuestro” Juanes confesses that “I will not let you go for a passing romance / forget that the past has been stormy and violent.”

In “Todos los dias” Juanes invites the listeners to take life as a song and sing it with energy every day. “One is not happy every day, that is why I also sing of hope. There are days when one is concerned about children, family and life itself,” the singer explains.

“P.A.R.C.E” was recorded between March and April this year and will be available in stores from December 7.
