Hundreds of people have reportedly been displaced by violence between the FARC and the military in the north and south west of Colombia.
Hundreds of farmers moved to the urban center of Anori in the east of Antioquia, reported Caracol Radio Tuesday.
According to reports, the farmers were displaced by the 36th Front of the FARC.
The guerrilla front delivered a list of demands to the local government which include ceasing the spraying of illicit crops, removing military troops from the area, and halting plans to build military bases in rural areas.
Colonel Edgar Ferrucio Correa told RCN Radio that there was no fighting in the region and troops will not give in to pressure from the rebels.
Another 200 people are camping on a soccer field in near the village of Caloto, Cauca after being displaced by combat between military forces and the 6th Front of the FARC, reported Caracol.
The local authorities are worried that the close proximity of the combat to the community will cause further damage.
Violence in this region of Cauca had been particularly heavy over the weekend.
