Hilary Duff brings ‘Blessings in a Backpack’ to Bogota

Hilary Duff will bring ‘Blessings in a Backpack‘ to Bogota in the first week of August. The U.S. singer and actress will head a trip by the non-profit organization that will visit schools in the capital city and give away backpacks filled with food to students. 

Duff will be in Bogota for five days El Espectador reported. During that time she will pay a visit to schools around Bogota handing out backpacks, as well as meet with Bogota Mayor Samuel Moreno and participate in cultural activities.

Moreno said that her visit will help to portray Bogota internationally as a safe and attractive city.

Duff will be named honored guest and Youth Ambassador by the Mayor’s Office during her visit.
