‘HH’ wants to name more names

Extradited former paramilitary commander ‘HH’ told International French Radio he would like to tell the International Criminal Court who told paramilitaries to use mass graves and disappearances.

‘HH’, or Ever Veloza García, former head of the Bananero and Calima blocks of the United Self Defenses, or AUC for its Spanish initials, told the station “it would be very important to be able to speak with Spanish judge Baltasar Garzón and ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo,” reported RCN Radio. The pair visited Colombia last month.

The ex-chief said disappearences were carried out at “the order of people who are part of the state,” adding that many have yet to be named in the current parapolitics investigations.
