Ever ‘HH’ Veloza admited he is one of the persons guilty of the murder
of former paramilitary leader Carlos Castaño. ‘HH’ spent his first day
in court after a series of declarations before the prosecution.
The former leader of the Calima and Bananeros blocs of the AUC told the judge Carlos Castaño was murdered in a house between the towns of San Pedro de Urabá and Arboletes, Antioquia in April 2004.
Carlos Castaño was the supreme leader of the AUC. After he was murdered his place was taken by Salvatore Mancuso.
Veloza, leader of the most feared of paramilitary groups, is on trial for over 200 crimes.
