First LatAm version of The Amazing Race shot in Bogota: rumors

A part of the first Latin American version of U.S. reality television hit
The Amazing Race may have been shot in Colombia’s capital Bogota, entertainment website La Fiscalia reported Wednesday.

According to the website, several people notified the newsroom that groups of people were running around Bogota in what seemed to be contestants of the series that will air on Discovery Channel in September.

The locations of where the contestans will have to race through are kept secret until the airing of the program, but “taking into account that Colombia is a very important market within Latin America, it would be difficult for the production to exclude Colombia from the race,” the website speculates.
