First death of AH1N1 patient in Colombia

 

Colombian authorities Tuesday confirmed the first death of an AH1N1 patient in the country.

The 24-year-old woman was admitted to hospital with symptoms of the swine flu last weekend where she was confirmed to carry the AH1N1 virus.

The woman died Tuesday in the Meissen hospital, south of Bogota.

The authorities say that two relatives of the deceased also suffer from the swine flu.

Colombia confirmed Tuesday the 28th case of AH1N1.
