FARC killed indigenous leader: ONIC

Rebels of Colombia’s largest rebel group FARC murdered an indigenous
leader in the Cauca department, national indigenous organization ONIC said
Wednesday.

Marino Mestizo, leader of the indigenous Paez people, was tortured and killed by three hooded men on Tuesday, the indigenous say. They published a video on the death of their leader on Youtube.

Indigenous leaders say the FARC is responsible for the murder as Marino was very active to fight drug trafficking in the region.
