Falcao returns to Colombia for Uruguay match

Colombian soccer phenomenon Radamel Falcao has arrived in Colombia for the national game against Uruguay in Barranquilla this Friday.

Falcao, otherwise known as the “El Tigre,” arrived Sunday morning in Colombia’s capital Bogota from Spain where he left the Atletico Madrid team to play for the eliminations towards the 2014 Brazil World Cup, reported Caracol Radio.

“I return to my country very happy, very content, I come to help the team, the most important is to bring the selection, and in this moment I am only thinking of the game against Uruguay,” said the Colombian striker.

Upon his arrival in Bogota’s airport, Falcao signed several autographs and took some photographs with his fans between the arrival section of international flights until the baggage claim of national flights.

Named one of the best players in the Europa League this year, the Colombian soccer star was very appreciative of the messages he received from his fans for his performance.

“I am very thankful for all of the people and very content with the messages that I’ve received from the whole country, they have moved me, and that now leaves us to prepare for the week and hope to play good games and get the victories that we want,” said Falcao.
