Fajardo to campaign virtually after fracturing hip

Sergio Fajardo, running mate of presidential candidate Antanas Mockus, will be campaigning online-only after fracturing his hip in a bicycle accident.

The vice presidential candidate had the accident on Saturday and was immediately treated in the Clinica El Rosario in Medellin where he had to undergo surgery.

Mockus on Sunday announced that his running mate is not allowed to leave his bed for a few weeks, but will continue campaigning online, using skype and videoconferencing for interviews.
