‘Epic’ music festival begins next week in Bogota

Festival Centro 2013, a six-day music festival that begins on January 15 in Bogota, encompasses a variety of different genres from both national and international artists.

The festival will take place in La Candelaria, Bogota’s iconic historical city center, and promises to provide good times and music vibes for everyone, with artists from a wide-range of genres including rock, pop, folk, Caribbean, Pacific, electronic and many others.

The festival will go from 2PM to 9.30PM each day as a host of different musicians take the stage in various venues throughout the historical district.

Colombian artists such as Arbol De Ojos and Esteman will be joined by a number of international bands, including indie act The Antlers (USA), Los Bunkers (Chile) and Russian Red (Spain).

The festival has been a smashing success in the past, having sold out in each of the last three years, and this year’s festival promises to be no different.

The music kicks off on Tuesday the 15 of January and ends the following Sunday.
