Colombian authorities say that the National Liberation Army (ELN) is
responsible for the massacre in Arauca that killed five persons and
injured a pregnant women. One of the victims was a demobilized ELN
guerrilla.
The first results of the investigation show the victims were shot by 9mm pistols.
The 15-year old girl that was killed was not part of the family as earlier reports indicated, but invited to join the group to their holiday home.
The victims were murdered on Chirtsmas day when they were driving in an SUV to the holiday home near Arauquita, a village close to the border with Venezuela.
