Colombia’s second largest guerrilla group lost almost half of its men
in the first months of 2009, a report by Colombian authorities says.
According to CM& Noticias, the report says the ELN lost 49.4 percent of its men through military pressure on the guerrillas.
Because of the death of the ELN’s Bolcheviques front in Tolima and the arrest of Wilson Eusebio García, the guerrillas lost control in the central part of Colombia, the reports says.
