Antonio García, whose real name is Eliécer Erlington Chamorro Acosta, was in Ecuador allegedly attending a number of Bolivarian meetings using one of his many false identities.Ecuadorean authorities are still investigating if the arrested man really is García Moreno, but admit they probably caught the right guy.According to Ecuadorean sub secretary of Defense Miguel Carvajal, the arrest shows the continuing “willingness to cooperate while defending sovereignty”.The Colombian Government has accused Ecuador on numerous occasions of harboring Colombian terrorists. The ELN is Colombia’s second largest active rebel group with an estimated 5 or 6000 guerrillas.
