ELN attacks buses in southwest Colombia

Colombia’s second largest rebel group ELN has burned several buses in the southwest of Colombia Saturday, Caracol Radio reported.

The reported rebel attacks followed a visit of President Juan Manuel Santos to the region who announced an offensive against guerrilla groups like the FARC and ELN.

According to the report, the buses were burned on the road connecting the towns of Tuquerres and Samaniego.

There were no reports of fatalities or injuries.
