Two die in Cundinamarca flood: El Espectador

At least two people died Sunday Cwhen heavy rains in Cundinamarca caused a small river to overflow, newspaper El Espectador reported.

According to rescue sources that talked to the newspaper, the local Cune creek overflowed in the village of Villeta, sixty miles north-west of Bogotá.

Another 40 people are still missing.

Rescue operations are said to be hampered by continuous bad weather.

The rainy season also hit the north of Antioquia where a heavy storm destroyedbuildings. Rescue workers on the scene are looking for victims.
