Award-winning Puerto Rican jazz and salsa musician Eddie Palmieri will star in the annual Salsa in the Park event in Colombia’s capital Bogota this Friday.
For the 15th year in a row, Bogota will celebrate the sounds and moves of salsa in a three-day long event with internationally and nationally renowned salsa bands.

On Saturday, the event pays tribute to the salsa singer Miguel Granados Arjona, alias “El Viejo Mike,” at the open-air theater Media Torta at 2:20PM.
Colombian salsa bands such as Real Charanga and La Misma Gente will perform Sunday all day from 12PM on at the same venue, Media Torta.
