Drama abounds during Bogota’s 8th theater festival

An annual theater festival that began Thursday will last until Sunday, November 4 in Colombia’s capital Bogota, presenting various forms of theater of all genres, for all ages throughout the city.

An eclectic assembly of 52 theater groups will be performing 48 different forms of theater including street theater, storytelling and puppetry.

Events will be held at 16 different venues throughout Bogota, “filling ever corner of the city” during the 11-day event.

Tickets to any of the festival’s performances are approximately $6.60.
