Deep Purple confirms Bogota gig

English rock dinosaurs Deep Purple confirmed they included Colombia to their world tour.

The band will be playing in the capital Bogota on October 25.

The Bogota gig is part of the band’s South American leg of their world tour that brings them also Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Panama.

The group is considered one of the founders of heavy metal and have sold over 100 million albums worldwide.

The Guinness Book of World Records officially dubbed the band “loudest pop group” in 1972 after a London gig reached 117dB, which rendered three spectators unconcious.
