David Guetta leads Ibiza invasion for 3D Bogota peace concert

David Guetta, one of the most sought after music producers and DJs on the planet, will headline a 3D concert in Bogota aimed at promoting peace and raising funds for the victims of violence in Colombia, reported El Espacio.

The “I love life – Sonidos por la Paz” event will take place at Bogota’s Centro de Convenciones Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada on Saturday May 21, before an anticipated crowd of some 3,000 — but only if they are dressed in white.

The concert has a strict dress code whereby everyone must appear in all-white clothing in order to demonstrate respect for harmony, unity and life, announced website Plan B.

House music superstar David Guetta leads the list of artists on the bill, joined by some 20 other artists enjoying success on the iconic Ibiza club scene. London-born singer Tara Macdonald, who has collaborated with Guetta in the past, will also be present.

Although primarily an electronic music affair, the event will also feature various reggaeton artists from Latin America.

All the artists will play aside an IMAX screen some seven meters wide by five meters high, from which the 3D show will be projected onto the audience and their 3D glasses.

Tickets can be bought at Tuboleta, with the proceeds going towards wounded soldiers or policemen, orphans, widows and the numerous victims of violence in Colombia.
