New Miss Cundinamarca elected

The central Colombian department of Cundinamarca selected its most beautiful woman to represent the region at the Miss Colombia beauty pageant in November.

A jury considered the 19-year-old architecture student Ana Maria Santa Caldas the most stunning of eight finalists.

According to RCN Radio, the new Miss is a confident and hard-working woman who fights to achieve her goals.

Santa Caldas will represent the department in November, when Colombia’s hottest women will compete in the Caribbean city of Cartagena to represent their country in the 2011 Miss Universe competition.
