Cradle of Filth to drop horror on Bogota

Bogota is set to host yet another major metal band as Cradle of Filth announce a Colombian late addition to their South American tour in December.

Considered Britain’s most successful metal band since Iron Maiden, Cradle of Filth have evolved from their hard-core black metal beginnings into a more gothic and symphonic sound, which has seen them appear on MTV and headline major festivals around the world.

The December tour will promote the band’s new album, “Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa,” which is due out in October and has been described by the band’s label as “a dark tapestry of horror, madness and twisted sex.”

Cradle of Filth will will begin their tour of the continent by rocking Bogota’s Teatro Metropol on December 12.
