Representative Blanca Nelly Gonzalez Marquez of the Cordoba department,
North Colombia, was arrested Wednesday for his alleged involvement in
‘Parapolitics’.
Gonzalez, who is a member of the Colombia Democratic Party, is under investigation for illegal enrichment and alleged links to paramilitaries, El Tiempo reported.
The Politician was a Representative of Cordoba for three terms.
In January, another member of the Colombia Democratic Party, indigenous Eligio Pestana Rojas, was arrested for alleged ‘Parapolitics’.
