Copa Libertadores: Once Caldas lose, Junior draw

Colombian club Once Caldas lost against Brazilian side Cruzeiro at home, while Junior drew with Mexican Jagaures Wednesday in the first-leg of the Copa Libertadores round of 16.

The Brazilians knew to beat Once Caldas in Manizales with 2 – 1.

Junior player Luis Paez knew to avoid a defeat at Jaguarez, which took the lead after a goal by Colombian international Jackson Martinez.

The second leg matches are next week, which will narrow the field to eight teams.
