New swine flu fatality in Bogota confirmed

Colombia’s Ministry of Social Welfare confirmed that a 24-year old women died in Tunal Hospital in Bogota from AH1N1 flu. 

The victim came to TunaL Hospital from Duitama, said Boyaca Health Secretary Luis Carlos Olarte.

Since May 3, when the first person tested positive for AH1N1 virus in Colombia, 22 departments, 4 districts, and 69 municipalities have reported confirmed cases of the pandemic influenza.
