The adventure was organized by a Colombian online shop that had promised a balloon for every “like” their facebook received.
While the web shop received more than 25,000 likes, the 27-inch tall Edward Niño only needed 10,000 balloons to be sent into the sky.
Niño was able to float at approximately 26 feet from the ground for three minutes.
Colombia’s shortest man was officially the world’s shortest man for little more than a month in 2010.
