Colombia’s prosecutor general hospitalized

Colombia’s prosecutor general has been hospitalized for an unknown condition, her office announced Wednesday.

The prosecutor general’s office released a short press release stating that Prosecutor General Viviane Morales had been sent to a hospital for unspecified “health problems.”

The release said that Morales is recovering from her condition and that it is hoped she will return to her position shortly.

According to local media, the country’s highest judicial official is being treated at the Country clinic in Bogota.
