Ambassadors start diplomatic offensive against FARC

Colombian ambassadors are to receive training on how to rebuff FARC attempts to discredit the Colombian government abroad, the country’s new ambassador to the UK announced Thursday.

According to Mauricio Rodriguez, the new Colombian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, the primary aim of guerrilla group FARC abroad is to discredit and disrupt the Colombian Government. Ambassadors will be in charge of responding to these alleged attempts to make Colombia look bad.

The new diplomat will travel to London on Friday with a suitcase full of documents detailing Colombia’s insurgency networks and evidence of the FARC’s drug trafficking movements, stated news station CMI.
