Bogota based Millonarios saw off Brazilian team Palmeiras to qualify for the South American cup quarter-finals in a 3-0 victory.

Even though Millonarios were dominating from the first minute, hardly allowing the ball into their own territory, it wasn’t until minute 35 when Juan Esteban Ortiz scored the first goal, putting the Colombians 1-0 up.

Goal number two came in the form of a penalty in the 61st minute when Renteria was fouled in the box by defender Leandro Amaro.

Mayer Candelo sealed the deal in the 77th minute after a cheeky ball from midfielder Lewis Ochoa, making the goal 3-0, aggregate 4-3 to Millonarios.
