Colombia’s defense ministry released a number of Christmas videos aimed at convincing fighters of illegal armed groups like the FARC and ELN to demobilize.
The videos show how soldiers hang up posters and cards with photos of women and children and texts like “More than a fighter, you are my son.”
The videos feature images of Colombia’s most war-torn regions in the south, center and northwest.
The government worked together with advertisement agency Lowe SSP3, which also made the 2012 and 2013 hearts and minds Christmas campaigns of the military.
