Demobilized paramilitaries arrested

Colombian authorities reported the arrest of three demobilized paramilitaries who are alleged leaders of the drug gang ‘Los Paisas’, Caracol Radio said Friday.

The report says that the demobilized paramilitaries Farmer Rueda, Juan Fernando Valencia, and John Marin were arrested in the Department of Antioquia on murder, conspiracy, and unlawful possession and manufacturing of weapons, ammunition, and explosives.

According to the Colombian Police Department, Rueda, Valencia, and Marin are all leaders of the criminal gang ‘Los Paisas’ which is mostly active in the North and west of Colombia.
