Colombia wins 2nd silver at 2012 Paralympics

Colombian athlete Elkin Serna won silver in the marathon at the 2012 Paralympics in London Sunday.

The 27-year-old runner from Medellin finished in two hours, 26 minutes and 39 seconds, less than two minutes after Spain’s Alberto Suarez.

Serna’s medal is the second for Colombia at the 2012 Paralympics; Swimmer Moises Fuentes won silver in the 100 meters breaststroke competition on Tuesday.
