Colombia to pay tribute to Lucho Bermudez

Colombia’s Ministry of Culture will host a two-day free concert series on Friday and Saturday honoring the Colombian musician and composer, Lucho Bermudez.

According to local media, the Orchestra of Lucho Bermudez, the String Orchestra of Bogota, and singers Dayana Blanco and Cristina Escamilla will perform some of the musician’s pieces.

The Orchestra of Lucho Bermudez will close the concerts with several renditions of original Bermudez numbers under the direction of conductor Hardinson Castrillon.

The concerts are set to begin on Friday at 6pm in Bogota’s Jorge Eliecer Gaitansera Theater.
