Colombia confirms 6 new swine flu cases

Colombian health authorities Saturday confirmed 6 news cases of AH1N1, raising the total number of swine flu patients to 79.

The new cases were confirmed in Barranquilla, the Antuiquia department, Bucaramanga and Pereira.

Health authorities also announced that the seventy employees of the National University in Bogota who are kept in quarantine on suspicion of the flu are an investigator of the flu and his colleagues.

The first confirmed case of AH1N1 presented itself on May 3. Since then two people died from the disease.
