The classic American musical Chicago will be playing at Bogota’s Royal Center theater until March 19.
The high energy musical tells the story of two women, Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, on deathrow in Chicago in 1920. Their story of fame, love, hate, and vengance has won Chicago no less than six Tony awards and a Grammy.
Now the longest running show in the history of Broadway will be coming to Bogota under the direction of Mexico’s Roberto Ayala and Colombia’s Cesar Escola.
The show will be playing from February 15 to March 19 at the Royal Center in Bogota at 8pm Wednesday through Saturday and at 6pm on Sundays and Monday March 19.
Tickets cost between 60,000 and 180,000 pesos ($80-$100.000).
