Central Colombia traffic accident leaves 4 dead

A traffic accident on the road between Colombia’s capital Bogota and the town of Girardot Sunday left at least four dead and five injured.

According to highway patrol chief General Rodolfo Palomino, a bus crashed into two motorcycles near the town of Granada after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The injured were taken to hospitals in the towns of Soacha and Fusagasuga.

According to Colombia’s transport authorities, 203 people have died in traffic so far this year.
