Bogota weekend was more violent than reported

Bogota lived a far more violent weekend than earlier reported. Not twelve, but 27 people were murdered between Friday and Sunday, newspaper El Tiempo reported.

According to the newspaper, three people were assassinated on Friday, ten on Saturday and fourteen on Sunday. The majority of murders were committed by firearms.

All murders occurred in the poor south of the capital.
