The world’s best of luxury tourism will meet again in Colombia’s capital Bogota.

The high-end annual tourism fair “Chic Travel Market” will be held for the second year in a row at the JW Marriott, one of Bogota’s most sophisticated hotels, on October 19 to promote Latin American luxury tourism.

An expected 1,500 people will be in attendence and will find 50 stands participating in the fair from different companies out of Puerto Rico, Aruba, Dominican Republic, Curazao, Cuba and Colombia. Chic Travel Market will feature high-end lifestyle and luxury brands of hotels, cruises and excursions, as well as products and services.

“The Chic Travel Market is a space to promote the culture of luxury tourism in the country. The event is an opportunity to educate operators, consumers, and travel agencies about luxury tourism,” explained Paul Pries, director of the South American Luxury Travel Association.

Pries explained that the fair is aimed at entrepreneurs in the tourism industry and that “it is an ideal instance to share interests and likes, bring luxury to the final consumer and realize networking at the highest level.”

There will also be a seminar called “Luxury tourism, unique experiences,” in which national and international panelists will participate.

Chic Travel Market is made possible with the support and participation of the International Air Transporting Association (IATA) and the British editorial Conde Nast , who will also be presenting the new guide of Luxury Hotels 2013.
