Bogota will next week host the Festival of New Colombian Music, showcasing the best of the country’s sounds from the last decade.
The three-day festival will involve performances by six bands from around Colombia, all of whom specialize in putting a modern twist on traditional musical styles.
The bands featured in the festival are La Revuelta, Eka, Cesar Lopez, Alejo Garcia, Oi and Palo Cruzao.
The festival will be held in Bogota’s Colsubsidio Theatre, with tickets costing between COP20,000 and COP40,000.
