Bogota to host 4th annual Gastronomic Festival

Bogota’s main exposition center the Corferia will become a melting pot of exciting national and international aromas and flavors when it plays host to the fourth annual Gastronmoic Fair from November 12 to 16.

Event organizers are expecting around 20,000 visitors to the fair, which will display 130 stalls of Colombian, Italian, Spanish, Peruvian, Belgian, Middle Eastern and Argentine cuisine.

The fair will feature cooking workshops as well as gastronomic shows by five internationally renowned chefs.

The fourth National Barista Championships and the Second National Cheese Competition will also be held over the five day event.

The event will run from 11am to 8pm November 12 to 16. Admission is 7,500 pesos (US$3.80)
