Bogota has longest buses in the world

Bogota’s public transit system Transmilenio Thursday introduced five new buses that are the longest worldwide.

The red buses have a capacity of 260 passengers. The authorities hope to reduce the congestion of the city in this way, local media reported.

The 40-tons buses are equipped with the latest technology (fuel efficiency) and safety of passengers.

The new means of transport run from the Portal of the Autopista Norte to Flores Virrey.
