Bogota house explosion leaves 3 dead

An explosion killed three people in a house in the northeast Bogota neighborhood of Suba on Wednesday.

According to sources from the Regulatory Center of Emergencies, the victims of the explosion, which appears to have been caused by the mishandling of a gas cylinder, were a married couple and a young child.

The event occurred in a four-story house in which, according to authorities, more than ten people resided, but most of whom were not present when the event occurred.

Anti-explosives teams are further investigating the cause of the explosion.
