Barranquilla carnival comes to Bogota

The Barranquilla Carnival comes to Bogota this weekend, with exclusive performances organized to raise money for good causes, announced the Barranquilla Carnival Press Office Wednesday.

Key members of the carnival will perform a show at the Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo Theater in Bogota at 5:00pm Saturday .

The show is a benefit to raise money for people with visual disabilities and people affected by human rights violations.

The queen and king of the 2012 carnival Andrea Jaramillo and Cristian Villamizar will host the show and Miss Colombia Daniella Alvarez and the National Virreina of Beauty Melissa Male Ballesteros will also appear in the show.

Tickets prices begin at 30,000 pesos [$15].
