Colombia airline Avianca on Monday announced it will begin operating daily direct flights between Bogota and London in July.

The daily route between the UK and Colombia is part of a larger expansion plan.

Last week the airline announced new direct flights to Los Angeles, California.

On the new flights to LAX and the expanded direct flights to London, Avianca will be flying Boeing B787-8 airplanes that have the capacity of transporting some 250 passengers, including 22 in business class.

Colombia’s largest airline currently operates flights to 98 destinations in 26 countries in the Americas and Europe.

The company has a fleet of 165 airplanes.
